A cookbook is being organized.  The Prom Committee would like to obtain recipes and antidotes from all Alumni.  Items to be included are:  Your favorite recipes in complete form and also send your special memories from you high school years.

The email address for these to be sent for publication is:  ahalstead@kcs.kana.k12.wv.us

Your name and year of graduation will also be included with the recipes.

GAMES/KIDS ACTIVITIES

Activities for the celebration on Saturday will be games, blowup slides on the front lawn of the high school property.  They are planning on having the Jupiter jump, face painting, clowns to make balloon hats, and animals.  Maps of the school will be available along with guided tours, if needed.  The school will be open on Saturday for people to walk around and investigate our school on their own.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 – FOOTBALL GAME

PreGame - The Pregame will start at 7:00.  The former Miss Red Dragons will go on the field and be introduced either by name or year of graduation.

Halftime – The halftime ceremony will begin with the SAHS Band and the announcing of the SAHS 2009 Homecoming Queen and her Court.  Mr. Tim White, band director, is checking with the other band as to if we could use their 10 minutes in the halftime performance.  If we can use that 10 minutes, Mr. White would like to perform several songs.  He wants to include the Alumni Band with the student band. Instruments will be grouped together with Alumni and students. This could possibly be the largest band ever on the field for SAHS.  In addition, the former Field Commanders, former Majorettes and former Flag Corps could also perform on the field in an organized routine, or perform alone.  Majorettes and twirlers would be able to twirl their batons as a solo.  We are expecting 200 plus, we hope.  Mr. White’s main idea is to get the largest group ever on the field for the halftime.  Music will be made available at band website at:  www.marchingdragons.com.

PARADE – SATURDAY MORNING 10:00am
